Seventy-Six Conservation Area
We visited the Seventy-Six Conservation Area on March 11, 2019 in Perry County, Missouri, so these photos are from when the Winter was lingering on and everything had not greened up yet, still showing Autumn browns. If you live nearby, this is a great place for a hike. We only hiked a portion of it, but for the more avid distant hiker, the trail continues on. We hiked out to the river view and then back the same way we came. There is a place by the Mississippi River to visit, although we saw remenants of flooding, and a small primitive camping spot.
We spied this along the road headed to the conservation area and stopped to explore.
