Hunnewell Lake Conservation Area
We wanted to visit Shelby County, Missouri, as we are trying to visit something in every county in Missouri. When we cannot find any other place, we can always find conservation areas and they almost always impress me. We visited Hunnewell Lake Conservation Area. It had a nice camping area. The whole place seemed to be well maintained. I would have liked to taken one of the free-to-use boats out on the water, but we did not have any life vests for us, but we did have some for the dogs with us. It was a quick visit as we walked around to the dock and appreciated the views.
